High-End Home Cooking in Westmount
ARLINGTON PROJECT
Open kitchen — balance between heritage and modernity
Guided by the desire to preserve the soul of the house while infusing it with a contemporary touch, this renovation offers an open kitchen at the heart of family life. The space, both functional and warm, naturally becomes the focal point of the home.
The navy blue beams, striking architectural elements, subtly structure the volumes and define the different areas, from the coffee area to the living room. This fluid organization encourages exchanges and creates a friendly atmosphere, where each space dialogues with the whole.
The project thus finds its balance between existing character and current intervention, in a sober and controlled writing.
A bright space designed to bring together and structure everyday life.
SELECTED MATERIALS
White lacquer (White Marble – Benjamin Moore), walnut veneer for the island, black handles (Lewis Dolin and Emtek), Authentik light fixtures.
