TOWARDS MORE HUMAN AND SUSTAINABLE INTERIORS: THE MAJOR DESIGN TRENDS OF 2025

Less technology, more simplicity: when design regains its emotional dimension.

Our interiors are no longer just practical spaces: they have become refuges. After the era of gadgets and cold aesthetics, we are now returning to more human, warm and lively homes.

Smooth circulation, open rooms and especially natural light are now essential. A house designed to breathe, open up and encourage exchanges becomes a house that takes care of those who live in it.

Although technology can facilitate certain everyday gestures, when it invades the space, it erases the essential: conviviality and human warmth. Too much connection can then disconnect us from the naturalness we are looking for so much.

This design philosophy respects each space, while subtly influencing our mood, our relationships and the quality of the moments shared.

This kitchen perfectly illustrates this philosophy because everything invites sharing. The island and the table can be moved according to the needs, creating in turn a dining area, a play area or an improvised music stage. Inspired by the client's memories of summer camps, the piece exudes conviviality and is transformed into a place of delicacies and shared laughter.

To respect this philosophy, the solution lies in teamwork between the designer, who stages the living room, and the client, who infuses his or her story through objects and memories.

In 2025, the home-refuge is asserting itself as the major trend, placing the craftsman at the heart of tomorrow's interiors. The return to handmade translates into subtle woodworking details, finely integrated into the design to enrich the sensory experience and give a unique soul to each space. Because choosing your handcrafted details in the design of the kitchen or other room of the house means:

  • support authentic know-how,

  • invest in objects that stand the test of time,

  • give each space a unique identity.

This know-how is thus in line with the quest for sustainability and emotional sensitivity that is redefining interior design.

The uniqueness of this project lies in its approach: to create a real nest of tranquility in the heart of an open space with vertiginous ceilings. For noise-sensitive customers, this need has become essential. The wooden ceiling then envelops the kitchen, bringing unity and warmth, like a protective cocoon where you feel instantly soothed.

In 2025, the house is reinventing itself as a place of balance between aesthetics, comfort and memory. Conviviality, natural light and handcrafted details become the pillars of this new art of living.

At Cuisines Steam, we believe that the success of a project is born from this alliance:

  • the expertise of the designer, who stages the project,

  • the sensitivity of the customer, who tells his story,

  • and the choice of noble and durable objects and materials, carrying emotion.

This is how we create interiors that are not only beautiful to look at, but above all beautiful to live in.

At the heart of this kitchen, the central table is delicately placed on a granite base, like a rock anchored in space. The idea of bringing the strength of the outer rocks inside immediately appealed to the client, who wanted to pay homage to the surrounding nature. A true centerpiece, this "centerpiece" became the creative starting point for the entire project.

" The art of enhancing your kitchen lies in these little touches that make all the difference and that, together, transform your daily life. »
