HENRI GRIGNON PROJECT
This unique kitchen is at the heart of a spectacular newly built single-family home designed by the architectural firm Garnier Villeneuve. The focal point of the house is the kitchen space, located at its center, designed with a two-story volume to create a distinct area separated from the surrounding rooms. The kitchen was conceived as two completely independent functional zones.
The first zone shares the living area, which is bathed in natural light, and serves primarily as a reception kitchen; a monolithic porcelain block as the central island, elevated on a tall white oak base, separates the two spaces.
The second is a functional kitchen used daily by the family. Anthracite gray defines this space, where all accessories and small appliances are neatly organized on a large open shelf, delighting the home cook without any ergonomic constraints. In short, a perfect harmony of aesthetics and functionality under one roof!
