Architectural kitchen with monolithic island
HENRI GRIGNON PROJECT
Double kitchen — reception and daily use
At the heart of this contemporary residence by Garnier Villeneuve, the kitchen is a central structuring space, deployed on two levels to create a real distinct living area within the house.
The project is structured around two complementary areas. The first, open to the living room and bathed in light, is designed as a reception kitchen, where a monolithic porcelain island becomes a focal point that is both sculptural and functional.
Set back, a second kitchen dedicated to daily use offers a fully optimised space, where open storage and equipment are organised with fluidity. The contrast between the natural oak and the anthracite surfaces underlines the duality of uses while ensuring visual continuity.
A design with a double reading, where aesthetics and functionality coexist with balance.
SELECTED MATERIALS
