Custom-made kitchen designed for natural light
COURCELETTE PROJECT
Heritage residence — continuity and modernity
This historic residence highlights a subtle dialogue between the original charm and a masterful contemporary intervention. The arches, mouldings and curved ceilings bear witness to the existing character, while the current interventions extend this writing with accuracy.
The kitchen, redesigned as the heart of the house, is part of this continuity. The colours and materials harmonize with the original floors, creating a seamless transition between eras. The floating cabinets, supported by a discreet structure, bring lightness and precision to the whole.
The central island, in contrast, asserts its presence through a denser materiality, becoming an anchor point in space. The opening to the backyard naturally extends the kitchen to the outside, reinforcing the relationship between architecture and landscape.
A renovation where past and present coexist with balance and finesse.
