    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design and present high-end tailor-made kitchen layouts.

    • Meet and convince customers for their kitchen and bathroom renovation projects, etc.

  • Under the supervision of the foreman, the cabinetmaker is responsible for the manufacture of kitchen cabinets, performing tasks such as cutting, assembling, mounting hardware and sanding. He must know how to read plans and work safely in a small team.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Degree in cabinetmaking or a related field.

    • Mastery of workshop tools (panel saw, radial saw, router, edge bander, planer, jointer).

    • Experience in the manufacture of kitchen cabinets or panel furniture, as well as with various hardware stores, an asset.

    • Sense of responsibility, punctuality, autonomy and ability to work safely and in a team.

    REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS :

    • Level of study: Secondary vocational (DEP).

    • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar position.

  • Under the supervision of the Senior Cabinetmaker, the Cabinetmaker's Assistant participates in the fabrication and assembly of kitchen cabinets and wooden furniture. He assists the team in various tasks, ensuring that quality and safety standards are met.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in the preparation of materials (cutting, sanding, deburring).

    • Assemble and assemble components under the supervision of the cabinetmaker.

    • Prepare and maintain the tools and machines of the workshop.

    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

    • Follow the instructions of cabinetmakers and foremen to meet plans and deadlines.

    • Perform manual support tasks such as cleaning, surface preparation and material storage.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Under the supervision of the team leader, the Kitchen Installer is responsible for the assembly and installation of kitchen cabinets and accessories at customers' sites. It ensures precise and quality work while guaranteeing exceptional customer service.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Install kitchen cabinets, countertops, sinks and other furniture according to plans and specifications.

    • Make the necessary adjustments to ensure the alignment, stability and aesthetics of the facilities.

    • Check the conformity of materials and installations before, during and after installation.

    • Assemble and secure hardware, shelves and drawers.

    • Collaborate with other team members (plumbers, electricians) to ensure a smooth and complete installation.

    • Provide courteous customer service, answer customer questions, and resolve any issues in the field.

    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

    • Meet deadlines and ensure an impeccable finish of each project.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • POSITION OBJECTIVE
    The CNC draftsman on Microvellum is responsible for the design and preparation of manufacturing plans for kitchen production. Using Microvellum software, he/she creates detailed drawings and files compatible with CNC machines, allowing accurate and efficient manufacturing of kitchen elements, while respecting customer specifications and quality standards.

    Main responsibilities:

    1. Design of kitchen countertops:

      • Develop detailed plans for furniture and kitchen elements (cabinets, shelves, drawers, worktops, etc.) according to customer requests and functional requirements.

      • Use Microvellum to design layouts respecting the dimensions, materials and configurations specific to kitchens (boards, panels, splashbacks, etc.).

      • Define the cutting and assembly plans for each element of the kitchen, taking into account the optimization of space and materials.

    2. Preparing files for CNC production:

      • Create and prepare CNC files (G-code, DXF, etc.) necessary for machining kitchen parts (panels, doors, drawers, etc.) on CNC machines.

      • Optimize toolpaths, cuts, and manufacturing sequences to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

      • Adapt files for different materials used in kitchen manufacturing (melamine panels, solid wood, MDF, laminate, etc.).

    3. Managing components and assemblies:

      • Select materials, colors and finishes for each project according to customer specifications and preferences.

      • Create detailed assemblies for kitchen elements (doors, drawers, hinges, rails, shelves) and ensure that they are well integrated into the overall model.

      • Verify that drawings include all the information needed for assembly, such as cut-outs, drillings, fasteners, and holes for accessories.

    4. Quality control and validation of drawings:

      • Verify that the drawings meet the customer's requirements as well as the technical and quality standards in force.

      • Ensure the compliance of the tolerances and dimensions of the kitchen units.

      • Check manufacturing plans prior to production to avoid any errors or adjustments during manufacturing.

    5. Collaboration with production teams and change management:

      • Collaborate with CNC operators and production teams to ensure that drawings and files are well understood and suitable for manufacturing.

      • Make technical adjustments as necessary, based on feedback from the production floor.

      • Participate in follow-up meetings and project feedback to improve production quality and efficiency.

    6. Updating and managing templates:

      • Maintain a library of standard kitchen models and assemblies to facilitate the creation of new projects.

      • Update drawings based on customer feedback or changes in production standards.

    7. Compliance with security standards and internal procedures:

      • Apply security policies when using software and designing elements to ensure a safe work environment.

      • Track the company's internal processes regarding project management, production planning, and change traceability.

    Skills required:

    • Proficiency in Microvellum software for CNC file design and generation.

    • Experience in the design of kitchen furniture and associated elements (doors, drawers, shelves, worktops, etc.).

    • Good understanding of the materials used for kitchens (wood, MDF, melamine, laminate, etc.).

    • Ability to create detailed technical drawings within tolerances and product specifications.

    • Experience in using CNC machines for kitchen furniture manufacturing.

    • Competence in cutting optimization and material management to reduce costs and waste.

    • Good ability to adapt and solve technical problems.

    • Effective collaboration with the production team to ensure plans are executed successfully.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Training in industrial design, furniture design or similar field.

    • 2-5 years of experience in a CNC drafting and design position, preferably in the kitchen manufacturing sector.

    • Experience with CAD/CAD software or design tools for the furniture industry would be an asset.

    • Knowledge of manufacturing standards and industrial processes for kitchen production.

  • OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
    The kitchen cabinet assembler is responsible for assembling kitchen elements (cabinets, drawers, shelves, etc.) in the workshop, in accordance with manufacturing plans and product specifications. He/she must guarantee the quality of the assemblies and the conformity of the products before they are shipped to the installation sites.

    Main responsibilities:

    1. Assembling the kitchen cabinets:

      • Assemble the different parts of the kitchen cabinets (doors, drawers, shelves, bottoms, sides) according to the manufacturing plans and precise dimensions.

      • Use hand and power tools (driver, drill, nailer, etc.) to assemble cabinet components in a strong and professional manner.

      • Install accessories (hinges, handles, drawer slides) and adjust them properly.

    2. Verification of the quality of the assemblies:

      • Check that the cabinets are properly assembled, without visible defects (cracks, scratches, poor finishes).

      • Check the dimensions of assembled elements to ensure that they meet technical specifications and are ready for production or shipment.

      • Make necessary adjustments to ensure the functionality of all kitchen elements (door adjustments, drawers, etc.).

    3. Preparing the items for shipping:

      • Prepare cabinets and other components (shelves, drawers, doors, etc.) for transport to the installation site.

      • Pack and secure items to prevent damage during transport.

      • Organize assembled products in an orderly and efficient manner on the shop floor for easy shipping.

    4. Maintenance of equipment and workspace:

      • Maintain tools and equipment used for cabinet assembly in good condition.

      • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workshop, respecting safety and hygiene procedures.

      • Ensure proper management of material stocks and the availability of parts necessary for assembly.

    5. Collaboration with the production team:

      • Work closely with the production team to ensure manufacturing deadlines are met.

      • Communicate effectively with other team members to quickly resolve any difficulties encountered during assembly.

    6. Compliance with safety standards:

      • Apply safety standards for the use of tools and equipment in the workshop.

      • Ensure that internal procedures are followed to avoid any accidents or damage during the assembly process.
